A wonderful gin that pays homage to the naturalist Alexander von Humboldt.
With a strong juniper note, assertive in gin & tonic and clean enough to make an excellent dry martini. And all at a really fair price in a 0.7 liter bottle. Developed by Spreewood Distillers, Humboldt Gin is characterized by its unique base of German rye and a carefully selected blend of 19 botanicals. These include exotic ingredients such as congona, guarana seeds and angostura bark, which Humboldt once collected on his travels. These are macerated in a gentle process in rye distillate and redistilled in copper hybrid pot stills, which gives the gin its full aroma.
