GATSBY Gin is a homage to F. Scott Fitzgerald, the chronicler of the Jazz Age, and the exuberant parties of his most famous character Jay Gatsby. Distilled in one of the oldest distilleries in Europe, traditional gin botanicals are married with the essence of Marc de Champagne.
To create the perfect balance, the founders, our friends Mario Stephan and Konstantin von zur Mühlen, sought to harmonize the elements of seven selected botanicals that perfectly complement the essence of Marc de Champagne. Turmeric, angelica, juniper, lemon, orange, coriander and licorice – they all combine tradition and tactility while creating an unexpectedly elegant maturity with the strong component of Marc de Champagne’s essence.
Marc de Champagne is a precious by-product, full of aromas that are created during the champagne production process. The marc is collected and matured for several years in oak barrels before revealing the smoothness of Gatsby Gin. Nuanced aromas for a sophisticated palate.
The bottle, which won the IF Gold Award 2025 design prize, is a homage to the Chrysler Building in New York, an icon of Art Deco that opened in 1930. This is what the jury says:

30ml Gatsby Gin
15ml lemon juice
15-20ml sugar syrup
Champagne
Shake the first three ingredients over ice cubes, then double strain into a frosted cocktail glass
and top up with champagne, but of course Gatsby Gin also cuts a fine figure in a gin & tonic.
