The brothers Christoph and Peter Eversbusch are now the sixth generation to run their family business in Hagen-Haspe in Westphalia, which was founded in 1780.<\/p>\n

Since 1817, double juniper has been distilled there according to the same recipe of their great-great-great-grandfather Eversbusch and bottled in traditional earthenware jugs. The trading relationship with the supplier of juniper berries from Tuscany is now also in its fourth generation. This expressive juniper distillate based on a fine rye spirit is, so to speak, a “craft gin” avant la lettre. <\/p>\n

In Peter Eversbusch’s words: “Of course we could also write gin on it, but we haven’t done that for 200 years.”<\/p>\n
